To determine if the control module is defective, try pressing each of the buttons on the control panel. If none of the buttons are responding correctly, it is possible that the control module is defective.

Microwave display not working

A malfunctioning display could be caused by a defective control module. Try pressing each of the buttons on the control panel. If none of the buttons are responding correctly, it is likely the control module is defective and will need to be replaced.

Microwave exhaust fan not working

If the microwave exhaust fan is not working, the control module might be defective. However, this is not usually the case. Before replacing the control module, first check the exhaust fan motor and wiring. If the exhaust fan motor is not getting power, the control module might be at fault and require replacement.
