About the Drain Pipe

A drain pipe attached to the defrost drain is used to direct any condensation dripping off the evaporator coils during a defrost cycle to a drain pan located near the base of the appliance. If the drain pipe is cracked or misaligned, water could leak out onto the floor. Inspect the pipe for damage and replace if necessary.
