A damaged evaporator fan motor or condenser fan motor fan blade will greatly reduce the air circulation needed to allow the freezer to operate correctly. Inspect the fan blade for any visible damage and confirm it can rotate smoothly on the motor shaft. A damaged fan blade will need to be replaced. Be aware that if the blade does not rotate smoothly, the fan motor may need to be replaced as well.
