Dryer drum drive belt. This belt is approximately 1/4" wide x 92-1/4" long. It is flat on one side and has 4 ribs and 3 grooves on the other. It replaces many other belts, including some with 5 ribs and 4 grooves. The belt attaches to the motor pulley and spins the drum as the motor rotates

The high-limit thermostat monitors the dryer temperature and shuts off the burner if the dryer overheats. If the high-limit thermostat is malfunctioning, it may shut off the burner even if the dryer is not overheating. However, this is rarely the case. Before replacing the high limit thermostat check all the more commonly defective parts. If you have determined that all of the other components are working properly, test the thermostat by using a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the thermostat does not have continuity, replace it.

The high-limit thermostat monitors the dryer temperature and shuts off the element or dryer when overheating is detected. If the high-limit thermostat is malfunctioning, it may shut off the dryer even if it's not overheating. You can test the thermostat for continuity by using a multimeter. If the thermostat does not have continuity, replace it.

The high limit thermostat monitors the air temperature in the dryer's blower housing, heating element, or heat duct and is intended to shut off the voltage to the heating circuit if the air temperature gets too hot. If the thermostat is defective, it may allow the heat to stay on too long, causing the dryer to get overheated. However, this is rarely the case. Before replacing the high limit thermostat check all the more commonly defective parts.
