Dryer won't start

This replacement knob, part number 4363253, restores easy control on select Whirlpool or Roper Dryer or Range/Stove/Oven models.

A damaged control knob that is unable to activate the timer can prevent the dryer from starting. Inspect the knob for cracks or wear and replace if necessary.

Electric stove burner won't turn off

If a range's surface element won't turn off, you should first inspect the control knob for damage. A broken knob may be unable to rotate the surface element switch stem to stop voltage being sent to the element.

Gas stove burner won't turn off

If the burner knob is cracked or broken it may not be turning the gas valve stem. Inspect the knob for any damage and replace if necessary.

Dryer controls don't work

A dryer control knob needs to be able to engage and rotate the switch stem for that control to work. If the knob is cracked or stripped out and just slips on the stem a new knob will need to be installed to properly engage the switch.
