Dishrack Roller

Dishwasher upper rack adjuster kit. This kit includes both left and right side adjusters and all components needed to service the upper rack. The part has changed from plastic to metal. So it will look different than the original part. Instructions available online at Servicematters.com.

Stop clip for upper dishwasher dishrack. The stop clip prevents the dishrack from sliding all the way out of the dishwasher.

Dishwasher not cleaning

The lower wash arm circulates water to the dishes in the lower rack. If water can’t flow properly through the lower wash arm, the dishes in the lower rack won’t be cleaned properly. Over time, food particles can get trapped in the tiny holes in the wash arm.  If your dishes are coming out dirty, the wash arm might be clogged. To unclog the lower wash arm, remove the wash arm and dislodge any debris from the holes. If the wash arm is extremely clogged, replace it. 

Dishwasher leaking

If the wash arm is cracked, it can force water to spray directly toward the lower part of the dishwasher door. The water can then be forced under the door and onto the floor, causing a leak. Remove the wash arm and inspect it for cracks. If the wash arm is cracked, replace it. Do not attempt to seal the crack with glue—the glue will break down in the dishwasher. If the wash arm is intact, make sure the screws in the wash arm support are tight. If the wash arm support is loose, water can spray out between the wash arm support and the lower pump housing, causing waves. These waves can cause water to leak out of the bottom of the door.

Dishwasher making noise

The lower wash arm circulates water to the dishes in the lower rack. If the wash arm is cracked or damaged in some other way, it may make a noise during the wash cycle. Inspect the wash arm for damage and replace if necessary.

Dishwasher overflowing

 If the lower wash arm has a crack or split on the side it can cause water to splash out the bottom of the door, giving the impression that the dishwasher is overflowing. Inspect the wash arm assembly for any damage and replace if necessary.

Dishwasher spray arms not spinning

The lower wash arm circulates water to the dishes in the lower rack. If water can’t flow properly through the lower wash arm, the dishes in the lower rack won’t be cleaned properly. Over time, food particles get trapped in the tiny holes in the wash arm.  If your dishes are coming out dirty, the wash arm might be clogged. To unclog the upper wash arm, remove the wash arm and dislodge any debris from the holes. If the wash arm is extremely clogged, replace it.
