Trash compactor will not start

Glide with ease using this roller, part number WC01X20232, built for select GE or Monogram Trash Compactors.

The trash compactor roller helps the compactor drawer to open and close smoothly. If the roller is broken or damaged the drawer may not close all the way, which will prevent the compactor from starting. Pull out the drawer and inspect the rollers. If the rollers are broken or damaged they will need to be replaced.

The trash compactor roller helps the compactor drawer to open and close smoothly. If the roller is broken or damaged the drawer may not be able to open. Try lifting the drawer upwards as you pull it out to disengage the rollers, then inspect the rollers for damage and replace as necessary.
