Dryer steam function not working

If no power is getting to the dryer's water inlet valve during the steam cycle, but power is reaching the steam generator, then it's likely the steam generator is defective and will need to be replaced.

Dryer leaking water

A water leak inside the dryer drum may be caused by a faulty or damaged steam generator, the component that converts the incoming water supply to steam. Inspect the steam generator for any cracks in the housing and replace if visibly damaged.
