Door closing cam

Refrigerator or freezer lower door closing cam. A new screw is needed to mount the cam. Consider lubricating the cam during installation.

Refrigerator defrost thermostat. The thermostat clips onto the evaporator. If the refrigerator does not defrost both the thermostat and heater can be tested to determine which part is at fault.

Refrigerator door gasket, black. If this gasket is worn out, cold air will leak out of the refrigerator, and the refrigerator will have to work harder to cool down. As a result, the refrigerator may run longer than normal, or frost may accumulate inside of the refrigerator.

Defrost heater

Refrigerator ice level control board kit, Emitter & Receiver. The ice level control board uses an infrared beam to sense the level of ice in the ice bucket and signal the ice maker to make more ice. If the ice level control board fails, the ice maker will stop making ice.

Refrigerator evaporator fan motor. The evaporator fan motor draws air over the evaporator (cooling) coils and circulates the cold air through the refrigerator and freezer compartments.

The Whirlpool Air Damper controls cold airflow from the freezer to the fridge. It replaces multiple part numbers and should only be serviced by a trained professional. Safety equipment and appliance disconnection are recommended.
