Shop replacement repair parts for Maytag Dryer model MGD6400TB0

The Dryer Repair & Maintenance Kit 4392065 includes rollers, a belt, and an idler pulley. It is specifically designed for 29 wide dryers built in 1965 or later. This kit addresses common issues that cause Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, and KitchenAid dryers to become noisy.

Dryer thermistor. This thermistor should read approximately 11.9K Ohms of resistance at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21’ Celsius). If the thermistor is defective, it may prolong or shorten the drying time or cause a fault code. A defective thermistor is not responsible for a dryer not heating.

High-limit thermostat kit. Contains hi limit thermostat and thermal cut out fuse. If the dryer overheats, the high-limit thermostat cuts off power to the dryer. If the dryer won't heat, the high-limit thermostat may have blown. This part has been updated by the manufacturer and may look different.

Idler pulley assembly for dryer drum drive belt

Dryer drum drive belt. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. If the drum will not turn when the dryer is turned on the belt is likely broken.
