Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the primer bulb on your chainsaw first make sure the chainsaw’s engine has cooled.

Next, release the top cover clips and lift the cover off.

Use a flathead screwdriver to depress the tabs to release the primer bulb assembly and pull the assembly out.

Install the new primer bulb by transferring the first fuel supply tube from the long port on the old bulb to the long port on the new one.

Now transfer the second tube from the short port on the old bulb to the short port on the new bulb.

It’s important to keep the tubes properly oriented.
7
Push the new primer bulb into the housing and snap it into place.
8
Realign the top cover and secure it with the clips.
