Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the trimmer head on your string trimmer first remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from accidentally starting.

Keeping your hands clear of the line cutter, secure the drive hub with a wrench and unthread the old trimmer head by rotating it counter-clockwise.
3
Install the new trimmer head by threading it clockwise onto the drive hub screw.
4
Once installed, remove the ends of the trimmer line from the head.

You can now reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug.
