Before you replace the fuel tank grommet on your engine first make sure the engine has cooled.

We recommend performing this procedure with no fuel in the tank.

Now remove both fuel lines from the tank.
4
Use a large flat-head screwdriver to help pry out the old grommet if still intact.
5
Detach the grommet from the fitting connected to the fuel supply line.
6
Prepare the new fuel tank grommet for installation by transferring the return line fitting from the old grommet to the new one.
7
Next, insert the supply line fitting into the new grommet.

Attach each fuel line to its appropriate fitting then press the grommet into position on the tank.
