Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace a fuel tank fitting on your engine first make sure the engine has cooled.

We recommend performing this procedure with no fuel in the tank.
3
Now remove both fuel lines from the tank.
4
Use a large flat-head screwdriver to help pry out the grommet.

If you’re replacing the supply line fitting, first pull the grommet off of the fitting.
6
Now release the spring clamp and pull the old fitting out of the supply line.
7
Install the new fitting by inserting it into the supply line and securing the spring clamp.
8
If you’re replacing the return line fitting, detach the old fitting from the grommet and insert the new one.
9
Next, insert the supply line fitting into the grommet.
10
Attach each fuel line to its appropriate fitting then press the grommet into position on the tank.
