To do this, depress the release button and pull out the ice bin.

Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the side cover access hole and press down to release the locking lever then pull the side cover forward to remove.
5
Use the screwdriver to depress the retaining tab to release the ice maker assembly.

Pull the assembly forward.
7
Disconnect the wire harness and remove the entire assembly.

Detach the ice level arm from the assembly.
9
If still intact, remove the old blade from the arm.
10
Install the new ice level arm extension blade by positioning it on the arm and snapping it into place.
11
Reattach the arm to the ice maker assembly.
12
Reinstall the ice maker assembly by sliding it part way into the housing.

Realign the side cover and slide it into place.
15
Realign the ice bin on the track and snap it into position.

With the repair completed, plug the power cord back in and your ice maker should be ready for use.
