Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace a straight drum baffle in your dryer be sure to unplug the power cord.

Use a number two square bit or a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws at the back securing the main top.
3
Slide the main top back and lift it up to remove.
4
Open the dryer door and rotate the drum so you can access the mounting screws securing the baffle you’re replacing.
5
Unthread the screws to release the old baffle.
6
Install the new drum baffle by positioning it on the inside of the drum then thread and tighten the mounting screws.
7
Realign the main top and slide it into place.
8
Rethread the screws in the back.
9
With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your dryer should be ready for use.
