Step By Step Instructions

To replace your lawn mower’s trail shield, your first step is to lift up the mower’s rear shield and remove the grass bag and frame.

Next, remove both mounting screws securing the old trail shield if the shield is still intact.

Now, slide the old shield to the side and flex to remove it.

Install the new trail shield by sliding one end into the deck adjustment plate then flex to insert the other end.

Make sure the shield’s trailing edge is curved upward.

Reinstall the mounting screws to secure the shield.

Lift up the rear shield and position the grass bag and frame into place.
