Step By Step Instructions

Dryer Console Clip Replacement

Tools needed: putty knife, quarter-inch socket or nut driver

Be sure to unplug the power cord.

Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthead the upper screw securing the dryer console.

Now insert a putty knife under the console to release the retaining clips.

Rotate the console up and lift it off the rear cover panel.

If still intact, detach the old console clip.

Install the new clip by inserting the long end into the slot nearest the front of the console then snap in the short end.

Reposition the console on the cover panel as you insert the rear tabs into the slots in the main top, then snap the console clips into place.

Rethread the screw to secure the console to the rear cover panel.

With the repair completed, plug the power cord back in and your dryer should be ready for use.
