Refrigerator Center Drawer Slide Rail Replacement

Tools needed: quarter-inch socket or nut driver

For easier access when replacing the center drawer slide rail in your refrigerator, first remove the lower glass shelf.

Now fully remove both drawers.

Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the two mounting screws securing the slide rail.

Set the old rail aside.

Prepare the new drawer slide rail for installation by applying some grease to both sides of the rail.

Position the slide rail on the liner and then thread and tighten the mounting screws.

Replace both drawers and confirm that they move freely.

Replace the lower glass shelf, if applicable.
