Before beginning this procedure, be sure to remove the snowblower’s start key from the engine.
2
Your first step is to remove what’s left of the old shear bolt if still intact.
3
Install the new shear bolt by first aligning the holes in the rake assembly with the holes in the gear case.
4
Now insert the bolt and tap it into place.
5
Secure it with the nut.
6
With the new shear bolt in place you can now return the start key to the snowblower’s engine.
