Tools Needed

You will need a 3/8th inch socket and pliers for this procedure.

Use a 3/8th inch socket or nut driver to unthread the three mounting screws to release the belt cover.

Use pliers to detach the idler arm spring and remove the old clip.

Install the new idler arm spring clip by positioning it in the frame, then attach the spring to the clip and the idler arm.

Replace the belt cover and secure it with the screws.
