Laundry Center Dryer Drum Baffle Replacement

Step 1: Gather a number two square drive bit or phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 2: Unplug the power cord.

Step 3: Use the number two square drive bit or the phillipsp-head screwdriver to unthread the two screws securing the dryer's lower access panel.

Step 4: Pull the panel up to remove.

Step 5: Unthread the two mounting screws securing the control panel.

Step 6: Pull the panel down to detach.

Step 7: Release the wires from the retaining clip and set the panel on a towel or blanket.

Step 8: Open the dryer door and rotate the drum so you can access the mounting screws securing the baffle you're replacing.

Step 9: Use the number two square drive bit to unthread the three screws.

"Step 10: With the screws unthreaded, you can remove the old baffle. "

Step 11: Align the new drum baffle in the drum then thread and tighten the three mounting screws.

Step 12: Secure the control panel wires in the retaining clip then reposition the panel.
