Laundry Center Water Level Button Replacement

"Step 1: Gather a number two square drive bit, a phillips-head screwdriver, and a small flat-head screwdriver. "

Step 2: Unplug the power cord.

Step 3: Use the number two square drive bit or the phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the two screws securing the dryer's lower access panel.

Step 4: Pull the panel up to remove. Step 5: Unthread the two mounting screws securing the control panel.

Step 5: Unthread the two mounting screws securing the control panel.

Step 6: Pull the panel down to detach.

Step 7: Release the wires from the retaining clip and set the panel on a towel or blanket.

Step 8: Use the phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the four mounting screws securing the washer's user interface board.

Step 9: Pull off the selector knob.

Step 11: Use the small flat-head screwdriver to pull back the tabs to release the button support and remove the old water level button.

Step 12: Align the new button in the control panel.

Step 14: Rethread the four screws to secure.

Step 16: Secure the wires in the retaining clip then reposition the control panel.
