Step By Step Instructions

To replace the blank strike plate in your ge dryer, you will need a drill driver with a 1/4” bit, and a #1 square head bit.
2
Unthread and remove the bottom screw on each hinge. then loosen the top screw on each hinge.
3
Lift the door up and away from the screws.

Unthread the two screws and remove the plate if applicable.
5
To install the new blank strike plate.

Rethread the two screws to secure the plate in place.
7
Set the door hinges over the loosened screws.
8
Rethread the bottom screws on each hinge, then fully tighten all four screws.

To replace the blank strike plate in your ge dryer, you will need a drill driver with a 1/4” bit, and a #1 square head bit.
