Roper Dryer has a burning smell

If your Roper dryer has a burning smell, act quickly but stay methodical. Next suspect a stretched, worn or frayed drive belt that is slipping and producing a burning rubber odor — check that the drum and idler pulley turn freely and replace the belt if it shows damage.
