Jenn Air Microwave won't turn off

If your Jenn Air microwave won't turn off, keeps running, or the fan won't shut off, start with the door switches. A failed door switch can short and allow the fan to run even when the door is open. Test each door switch for continuity and replace any switch that fails. If the switches work, the user control and display board may not be registering the Cancel or Off button. When all control panel buttons respond incorrectly, replace the user control and display board. If only some buttons fail, the touchpad and control panel or the separate touchpad may be defective. A less common cause is a failed main control board with a shorted relay or triac, which can keep components powered after you press Off.
