If your Jenn Air oven light won't turn off, the light switch is the most likely cause. A shorted light switch can continue sending power to the oven light even when the switch is in the off position. Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter and replace it if it has continuity while off. If the oven light stays on when you press the control, the touchpad and control panel may not be registering the command. A defective touchpad can cause the same oven light not turning off problem, especially when some control buttons work and others do not. A shorted control board can also keep the light powered. Less commonly, a door hinge may be bent, preventing the door from closing tightly enough to activate the light switch. On some Jenn Air models, a shorted door switch can also leave the light on. Unplug the range before testing or replacing electrical parts, and enter your model number to find the exact replacement light switch, touchpad, control panel, control board, door hinge, or door switch for your Jenn Air range, stove, or oven.

If the door isn't closing properly the light switch may not be actuated, keeping the light on. Check to see that the door is closing tight. If the door opens past 90 degrees, the door hinges are likely bent and will need to be replaced.
