Electrolux dryers are built for reliability, but like any dryer, they'll eventually need replacement parts. The most common failures — thermal fuses, heating elements, drive belts, and drum rollers — are all available here with OEM quality and exact model fit. When your Electrolux dryer stops heating or won't tumble, the right part makes all the difference.
Electrolux dryers span multiple product lines and capacities, so entering your model number ensures you get the exact part designed for your unit. Whether it's an electric or gas model, factory-certified or standard configuration, we carry the full range of Electrolux dryer parts and can ship same-day on many items.

A dryer that tumbles but produces no heat almost always points to a failed thermal fuse or heating element. The thermal fuse is a one-time safety device that blows if the dryer overheats — once blown, the dryer runs but won't heat until you replace it. Always check that your vent is clear of lint blockage before replacing the fuse. If the fuse is intact, the heating element itself may have failed. Electric Electrolux dryers use a nichrome wire element that can burn open over time, breaking the heating circuit entirely.
When the motor is running but the drum won't rotate, the drive belt has snapped. The flat multi-rib belt wraps around the drum and transfers motor power to tumble action. If it breaks — and it will eventually — the drum seizes. Most technicians replace the idler pulley at the same time, since it's already worn from supporting the failed belt. Both parts are inexpensive, and replacing them together extends dryer life by years.
The model number is typically printed on a label inside the door frame or on the back panel of your dryer. It starts with a letter prefix (like E, EL, or ESLG) followed by numbers. Once you have it, enter it in our model-number lookup tool to see all compatible parts for your exact Electrolux dryer configuration — capacity, fuel type (electric/gas), and year of manufacture all matter for getting the right part.
OEM Electrolux parts are manufactured to the exact specifications of your original dryer parts — voltage, wattage, dimensions, and fit are all certified correct. Aftermarket parts may appear similar but often vary in heat tolerance, electrical resistance, or mechanical fit, leading to premature failure or unsafe operation. Repair Clinic stocks genuine OEM Electrolux parts to ensure your dryer performs as designed and your repair lasts.

On Electrolux dryers, the model number is commonly printed on a label along the back panel or inside the door opening. Open the door and check the frame first, then look behind the dryer if the label is not there. The model number identifies the entire appliance, not just one part, so use the complete number exactly as shown, including letters and numbers. Type it into our model number lookup and the catalog narrows to parts made for your unit, from belts and rollers to heating parts and controls. Matching by model helps you avoid confusing similar Electrolux designs and makes it easier to order the correct replacement the first time.

Repair Clinic gives Electrolux Dryer owners and technicians everything they need to diagnose and repair the appliance online. The video library shows disassembly, testing, and reassembly for the most common repairs. Written repair guides pair with the videos, and diagnostic articles cover the likely causes for each symptom.
