Bake element

Radiant surface element, 1200 watts

The Whirlpool Bake Element is a high quality replacement part for electric ovens on ranges. It is located at the bottom of the oven and supplies heat for baking. It replaces several part numbers and caution should be taken when servicing or repairing the appliance.

Heating element assembly with replacement high limit thermostat, L248-80 (240 Volt, 4750 Watt). Dryer Heating element. If the dryer does not heat check for a blown thermal fuse or thermal cut out. Heating elements will often have a break in the coil element if defective.

Broil Element

Surface element with limiter, 6 inch, 1200 watts

Oven bake heating element. If the oven won't heat, the bake element may have burned out. If the bake element has burned out, it will be often be visibly damaged.

Stove top dual surface element. 1200/2500 watts. If the element does not heat either it or the control switch is defective. The coil can be tested to determine if it is at fault.
