If your LG icemaker has stopped producing ice, the icemaker itself may not be the cause of the problem. You should first confirm that the temperature in the freezer compartment is low enough for ice to form (we recommend a setting between 0° and 5° Fahrenheit/-18° - -13° Celsius). You should also confirm the refrigerator’s water inlet valve is working properly and is receiving sufficient water pressure (20 to 120 PSI of water pressure is required). Low water pressure or a defective inlet valve can also cause the icemaker’s fill tube to become clogged with ice. Whatever problems you may be experiencing with your icemaker, Repair Clinic has a solution. We stock genuine LG replacement parts including full icemaker assemblies, ice buckets, ice lever arms, chutes, trays, and gears. To find the part you’re looking for, enter the full model number of your LG refrigerator into Repair Clinic’s search bar, then select “Ice Maker” from the part category filter followed by the appropriate part title.
