Refrigerator or freezer temperature sensor (also called a thermistor). The thermistor monitors the refrigerator, freezer, and evaporator temperature and sends the temperature reading to the control board.

Furnace flame sensor. The flame sensor monitors the burner to detect whether or not a flame is present. If the flame sensor is defective, the furnace may not heat.

Dryer center outlet thermistor. *Note that it is not in the heating circuit so it likely will not be the cause of a dryer heating problem. It can however effect cycle times or cause a fault if defective. The resistence reading should read around 100 k ohms at room temperature.

Inlet control thermistor. Resistence reading should be around 100K ohms at room temperature and decrease with temperature rise.

Oven temperature sensor assembly. *** If the old plug is different kit comes with high temp ceramic notes to splice in*** The oven sensor works in conjunction with the oven control board to regulate the oven temperature. If the oven sensor is defective, the oven temperature will be inaccurate.
