Another diy repair thanks to Repair Clinic! Our GE Profile range PGS975SEP1SS was starting to take a long time to heat and on Easter Sunday would not go above starting temp 100F until I put on Roast and then kicked in. After doing some research on the web we decided that it was probably the igniter WB13T10045 (old #229C5216P001). For this GE Profile range we needed to remove the door. We used a small screwdriver to unlatch each hinge and carefully lifted the door up. We were then able to slide out the bottom of the oven to reveal the shield below that was in place with two screws in front and two screws in back. After removing this shield, the igniter was revealed. Removing two screws on the igniter side freed the igniter but the connector was too far back, so we removed the small door in the back of the oven to unclip the igniter and install new one. We ended up purchasing OEM GE part from Repair Clinic instead of others that were $100 less. VOILA! Back to baking again.
