Thermal Fuse

Dryer drum drive belt. This belt is approximately 1/4" wide x 92-1/4" long. It is flat on one side and has 4 ribs and 3 grooves on the other. It replaces many other belts, including some with 5 ribs and 4 grooves. The belt attaches to the motor pulley and spins the drum as the motor rotates

Dryer gas burner valve solenoid set. If the dryer does not heat or heats intermittently the coils could be defective. To test, watch the burner and if the igniter glows for a while and then shuts off without the gas igniting, it usually means one of these coils is bad.

Washer won't spin or agitate

The door latch secures the washer door shut during operation. Once the washer door is closed, the washer can begin operating. If the washer door is not latched shut, the door switch will prevent the washer from operating. If the door latch is defective, the washer will not spin or start. The door latch can fail either mechanically or electrically. Inspect the door latch for damage. If the door latch is damaged, or does not close properly, replace it. To determine if the door latch has failed electrically, use a multimeter to test any switches on the door latch for continuity. If one of the switches does not have continuity when activated, replace the switch.

If one of the switches does not have continuity, replace the switch.
