About the Light Socket

If the light itself is newly installed or shows no signs of damage, yet still won't work, it's possible the light socket is defective. You can use a multimeter to test whether or not voltage is reaching the light socket. If the meter shows that power is reaching the light socket then it's likely the socket is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced.
