Step By Step Instructions

To replace the door strike on your washer, open the washer door and use a small flathead screwdriver to help pry off the outer door panel from the hinge side.

Now, use a t-20 torx bit to remove the screw and retaining tab securing the strike.

Lift the old strike from the pins and detach it from the inner door panel.

Install the new door strike by inserting it into the slot in the door panel and align the strike on the pins.

Position the retaining tab and replace the screw to secure.

Align the two door panels and snap them together.
7
Once installed, confirm that the new door strike latches properly.
