Step By Step Instructions

To replace the door hinge on your dryer first remove all of the screws securing the outer door panel.

Leave the middle screw securing the hinge.
3
Pull off the outer door panel and carefully remove the inner door glass.
4
Next, remove the screws securing the hinge cover.

Remove the middle screw securing the hinge and pull off the hinge cover.

Detach the inner door panel from the hinge.

Next, remove the mounting screws securing the hinge itself.

Now lift the old hinge up to remove it from the front panel.

Prepare the new door hinge for installation by transferring both the retention screw and the gasket from the old hinge to the new one.

Now align the new hinge on the front panel and replace the mounting screws to secure.

Next, transfer the four hinge bushings from the old hinge to the new one.

Position the inner door panel on the new hinge realign the hinge cover and replace the middle hinge screw.

Now replace the remaining screws to secure the cover

Realign the inner door glass making sure the notches in the glass align with the notches in the door.

Reposition the outer door panel and snap it into place.

Replace the screws to secure.

Remember to reinstall the door strike.

Once the procedure is complete, confirm that the door opens and closes properly.
