Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the oven door handle on your range first unplug the power cord.

Open the oven door and lift up both hinge stops.
3
You can now fully remove the door.

Use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the seven screws securing the inner and outer door panels together.

Carefully separate the two panels.

Remove the insulating pads.

You can now remove the two screws securing the handle.

Remove the old handle.

Install the new oven door handle by inserting a mounting screw through the outer panel then align the new handle and begin threading the screw.

Thread the second screw and tighten both screws to secure.

Replace the insulating pads.

Join the inner and outer door panels together.

Replace the lower hinge screws first.
14
Realign the door trim and replace the remainder of the screws to secure the panels.
15
Reinsert the hinges into the slots in the frame.

Fully open the door and flip both hinge stops down.

With the repair completed. plug the power cord back in and your range should be ready for use.
