Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the outer door push indicator in your dryer be sure to unplug the power cord.

Open the dryer door and support it as you use a number two square bit or a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the four screws securing the door to the hinge.

Next, unthread the four screws securing the latch assembly.

Slide out the assembly.

Now remove the screws securing the two glass supports. You can use a small flat-head screwdriver to help pry the supports loose.

Lift out the inner door glass.

You can now detach the old push indicator if still intact.

Install the new push indicator by snapping it into place in the outer door window assembly.

Now realign the top support on the inner glass and position the support on the door.

Align the bottom support on the glass, position the support and snap both supports into place on the door.

Replace the screws to secure.

Realign the door latch assembly on the door then thread and tighten the screws to secure.

Realign the dryer door on the hinge then thread and tighten the screws.

With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your dryer should be ready for use.
