1
Before you replace the control panel on your electric range…

3
Pull the range away from the wall so you can access the rear of the appliance.
4
Use a phillips-head screwdriver or a quarter-inch nut driver to unthread the lower screws to release the upper rear access panel brace.
5
Next, unthread the upper screws securing the panel.
6
Disconnect the wire connecter from the control board to fully release the panel.
7
Use the phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the four mounting screws securing the switch and control board assembly – make sure the loose screws don’t fall behind the lower rear access panel.
8
Carefully detach the assembly and support it to avoid straining the wires.
9
Next, place tape over the back edge of the cooktop to protect it.
10
Now use a short or off-set phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the lower screws securing the control panel.
11

13
…by aligning it on the support brackets.
14
Thread and tighten the upper and lower screws to secure.
15
Remove any tape from the back edge of the cooktop.
16
Reposition the switch and control board assembly by aligning the upper tabs with the notches at the top of the control panel.
17
Hold the assembly in place as you thread and tighten the four mounting screws.
18
Reinstall the upper rear access panel by first connecting the wire connecter to the control board.
19

20
Realign the brace then thread the lower screws.
