Microwave Oven Turntable Coupler Replacement

Tools Needed

You will need a phillips-head screwdriver for this procedure.

Shock

Be sure to unplug the power cord or shut off the power supply.

Using a phillips-head screwdriver, unthread all of the screws securing the bottom panel.

Disconnect the led light wire connecter to fully release the panel.

Disconnect the turntable motor wire connecter.

Unthread the mounting screws to release the motor.

Lift out the glass turntable.

Rotate the old coupler until you can pull it straight out.

Prepare the new turntable coupler for installation by transferring the two washers from the old coupler to the new one.

Insert the new coupler and push it into place.
15
Align the turntable on the new coupler.

Reinstall the turntable motor and thread the screws.

Reconnect the motor wire connecter.

Reinstall the bottom panel by first connecting the led light wire connecter.

Realign the panel and rethread the screws.

Plug the power cord back in or restore the power supply.
