Tools Needed

"You will need a T-20 Torx bit, a flat-head screwdriver and a T-25 Torx bit for this procedure."

Make sure the engine has cooled.

Remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from accidentally starting.

Rotate the blower tube assembly counter-clockwise to detach it from the blower housing.

"Using a T-20 Torx bit, unthread the ten screws securing the blower cover."

Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the retaining clip to fully remove the old cover.

Use a T-25 Torx bit to unthread the three mounting screws to release the intake grille.

"Prepare the new blower cover for installation by first aligning the intake grille, then thread and tighten the mounting screws."

Position the new blower cover assembly on the housing and snap the retaining clip into place.

Thread all of the screws.

Reattach the blower tube assembly by aligning it on the blower housing and rotating clockwise until the tube locks into place.

Reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug.
