Leaf Blower Flexible Blower Tube Replacement

Step 1: Rotate the blower nozzle and extension tube counter-clockwise to detach.

Step 2: Use a 5/16 inch socket or nut driver to loosen the screw clamp securing the swivel blower tube and slide out the tube.

Step 3: Detach the cable clop to release the cable.

Step 4: Loosen the screw clamp securing the flexible blower tube to the elbow tube and remove the old tube.

Step 5: Prepare the new flexible blower tube by transferring the two screw clamps from the old tube to the new one.

Step 6: Feed the static discharge wire through the new tube.

Step 7: Attach the larger end to the elbow tube.

Step 8: Confirm the cable clip is positioned on the right side of the new tube and the static discharge wire has some slack and then tighten the screw clamp.

Step 9: Secure the cable in the clip.

Step 10: Reinstall the swivel blower tube by inserting it into the flex tube.

Step 11: Position the screw clamp and tighten.

Step 12: Reinstall the extension tube and nozzle by aligning them on the swivel tube then rotate clockwise to lock them into place.
