"You will need a Philips-head screwdriver or a number two square drive bit for this procedure, and you may need assistance."

First unplug the old cord.

Have an assistant help you to move the appliance away from the wall.

Sharp Hazard

Remove the panel.

Unthread the screw to release the power cord grounding wire.

Depress the tab to disconnect the power cord wire connecter.

"Using pliers, depress the retaining tabs to release the strain relief from the rear panel and fully remove the old cord."

Prepare the new power cord for installation by transferring the strain relief from the old cord to the new one.

Insert the power cord connecter and grounding wire through the hole in the rear panel then snap the strain relief into place.

Connect the wire connecter.

Secure the grounding wire to the top of the rear panel with the screw.

Realign the top panel and secure it with the screws at the rear.

Move the appliance back against the wall.

Plug the new power cord in.
