Step By Step Instructions

To replace the filter holder in your lg dryer…

You will need a phillips driver or drill driver with a phillips bit.
3
Unthread the three screws securing the filter cover and pull out the cover.
4
Pull out the filter then depress the two tabs to release the filter holder from the cover.

Push the filter flap down and pull it from the holder.
6
To install the new filter holder…

Align the spring on the flap and insert into the slot…
8
Fold the flap down and lightly bend to insert into the other slot. then snap the center hinge in place.
9
Hold the flap down on the filter assembly and then align and snap the assembly in place onto the cover.
10
Next, align and slide the assembly into place within the dryer.

Rethread the three screws to secure.

Reinstall the lint filter.

…and your dryer should be ready for use.
