Step By Step Instructions

To replace the main control board in your lg dryer…

You will need a phillips screwdriver or drill driver with a phillips bit.

Before you attempt this, be sure to turn off the power to the appliance…
4
Pull the dryer away from the wall.
5
Unthread the five screws to remove the bracket.
6
Slide the lid and lift it off to remove from the dryer.
7
Unthread the screw on the control board.
8
Slide the board out to release it.
9
Unplug all the wire harnesses.

To install the new main control board…

Plug in the wire harnesses according to their colors.
12
Insert and slide the control board into the dryer…
13
…and rethread the screw to hold.
14
Place the lid on the dryer and pull forward to secure.
15
Rethread the five screws to reinstall the bracket.
16
Push the dryer back into place.
17
Turn the power supply back on…
18
…and your dryer should be ready for use.
