Step By Step Instructions

To replace the suspension spring in your lg washer, you will need a drill driver with a phillips bit or a phillips screwdriver.

Before you begin the procedure, unplug the washer.

Pull the washer away from the wall.
4
Unthread the two screws on the top panel.
5
Slide and lift the top panel off.
6
Loosen the clamp and remove the bellow from the housing.
7
Lift the spring and remove the spring holder out of its socket, now remove the spring holder.
8
Lift the spring and detach it from the tub and the frame.
9
To install the new suspension spring, lightly grease both ends of the spring.

Attach the spring to the tub then mount it to the washer.

Attach the spring holder to the spring.
12
Now lift the spring to mount the holder.
13
Install the bellow to the assembly then tighten the clamp.
14
Set and slide the top panel onto the washer.
15
Rethread the two screws onto the panel.
16
Push the washer back into place.
17
Turn on the power, and your washer should be ready for use.
