Step By Step Instructions

To replace the spring holder in your lg washer, you will need a drill driver with a phillips bit.

Before you begin the procedure, unplug the washer.
3
Pull the washer away from the wall.
4
Unthread the two screws on the top panel.
5
Slide and lift the top panel off.
6
Loosen the clamp and remove the bellow from the housing.
7
Lift the spring and remove the spring holder out of its socketc.
8
Remove the spring holder.
9
To install the new spring holder, lightly grease the holder where the spring rides.

Attach the spring holder to the spring

Now lift the spring to mount the holder.
12
Install the bellow to the assembly and tighten the clamp.
13
Set and slide the top panel onto the washer.
14
Rethread the two screws onto the panel.
15
Push the washer back into place.
16
Turn on the power, and your washer should be ready for use.
