Step By Step Instructions

To replace the lid in your ge washer, you will need a drill driver with a phillips bit and needlenose pliers, pull the bumpers out of the lid.
2
Unthread the two screws and slide the striker down and out of the lid.

Remove the two screws on the right side of the lid.
4
Roll the hinge in a 90° motion to remove.
5
Repeat these steps for the left side then remove the lid.
6
To install the new lid.

Align the lid with the hinge hole and insert the end of the hinge, roll the hinge back into position.

Repeat these steps for the opposite side.
9
Slide the strike into place.

Insert the bumpers and firmly press them into place. you can lube them with dishsoap to make it easier.
