Convection Element Customer Reviews

Common Problems Fixed by the Convection Element

Based on customer reports and repair data, this part commonly fixes these issues:

About the Convection Element

The convection element can work independently in true convection or in combination with other heating elements to heat the air circulating inside the oven. If the convection element shorts out it can cause a popping or buzzing noise. To determine if the convection element has shorted, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity from the element terminals to the outer case. If the convection element is shorted or does not have continuity, replace it.
