Power systems with this genuine OEM motor, part number WB26X10112, made for select GE, Cafe, or GE Profile Microwaves.

The Fan motor keeps the magnetron cool when the microwave is running. If the fan motor stops running the magnetron tube will overheat tripping the high limit thermostat, causing the microwave to shut off. If the motor is getting power but not running properly it will need to be replaced.
